As a cycling rookie, I never know how I should prepare for an early morning ride.
I tend to have something low in carbs (usually porridge) about an hour before I go out. But I’m unsure what I should be eating to recover afterwards.
Is there a particular food that is better for losing weight and reducing muscle soreness? What should I eat beforehand (or even during) the ride so I can go for longer?
